Painted Face Fairy
This is Breeze the Butterfly Keeper. She's my second painted face doll and I was really proud of how she turned out. I sent her to a gal who I met on Craftster as a trade. She was also very hard to send away. The clothes and shoes were my design. The Doll pattern was from this book...Creative Cloth Doll Making by Patti Medaris Culea. It's a very good book.

ReplyDeleteWere you as amazed as I was when I created my first face? I couldn't believe it... I loved doing the faces on them...haven't made a doll for a few years now.... need to get back to doing one some day soon....
ReplyDeleteBumbleVee...I know! I couldn't believe I could actually do it and it looked like a .....wait for it!....FACE! I still get really nervous using permanent inks and paint and such. This doll was only my second one and I gave her away. I hope you make more! I'd love to see them. Cheers!
